Chevy Traverse

The first vehicle I will report on is the 2010 Chevy Traverse.

The Traverse is an eight passenger crossover SUV that can do it all. It's very roomy inside and provides a lot of comfort for the entire family. The storage area in the rear is not too big but it can hold luggage and a stroller with the rear seats up. Drop the rear row and you have plenty of room for just about anything. The seats in the middle row fold up very well for added room with larger items.

The handling of the crossover is great. It has plenty of pick-up on the highways and climbs hills very well. It's not the best on gas but good for a larger vehicle. I averaged around 21 mpg highway and that includes many hills and highway driving.

The sound system is average but that is still very good lately.

The only drawback is its size if your not use to it. It took me a few tries to get use to parallel parking it but the rear warning alarm helped a lot.

I would buy this vehicle.

Welcome to Vex's Auto Blog

Thank you for checking out my auto blog. I will blog personal opinions about new vehicles.

I work for a major car rental company so I have access to many different brands, makes, and models. I will only comment on ones that I have driven and will be very honest.

The format will be very simple and easy to understand. I will give very limited technical information for each vehicle, but will have a link to the company's website relating to each one tested. In addition there will be info on how well it drives and handles in various conditions.

My scale for vehicles will be as follows:

Business only rental - I don't like the car but I'm not paying for it
Personal rental - I would pay my own money for the car, but I can return it after
Lease - I like the vehicle a lot but not enough to own it for the long term
Buy - I love the vehicle and would recommend buying it

I hope you enjoy.
